2009 Season

I had a great time, great hospitality, and great food. Pete, Marlene and P.J. are down to earth people. We saw a lot of deer. Finally got an 8 pt., 202 lbs. on the last morning of our hunt.

I hunted the first week of bow season. There was lots of foliage, high winds, rain and lack of deer movement made things very challenging but I had an awesome hunt. They had great stands and stand placement. Peter and P.J. went out of their way to put us in good areas and to make it a great hunting experience. The lodging was excellent and Marlene's cooking was top shelf. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were treated like family. I will definitely be back as soon as I am able to put a deposit down. "Awesome Experience!"

I sat in some great stands and in great spots. We've seen lots of deer, some small bucks, and one "BIG BUCK" but couldn't get a shot. My friends were successful. I will be back for sure. The last day I sat with Peter, "Wow; what a riot!" I had more fun the last day then the previous two days. We talked about everything and saw some great deer. Pete, next time I will be in charge of the water. The food was excellent for all meals. Thank you to you all: Peter, P.J. and Marlene.

Best hunting experience of my life. Pete, Marlene and P.J. are the finest people you will ever meet. Class "A" from the cooking to the sleeping quarters. P.J. had mw trying out different stands from box blinds to ladder stands, all were very comfortable. Missed a nice buck on the second afternoon, no excuses, actually I did think my scope was off....... it wasn't. Shared a lot of stories and a lot of laughs, and maybe a few lies. Hope to be back next year. Thanks a million.

This was the best hunting experience ever for me. I sat in Arizona's stand for 1-1/2 days then shot the biggest 8 pt. buck of my life. Thank you Peter! Marlene's cooking was the best. 2008 Season

What a great time. I will be back! I need to go on a diet when I get home because of Marlene's cooking! I enjoyed all my guides; I saw 5 bucks and took two shots but no deer; "My fault."

I came up with Peck, Byrne, Harpo, Arizona and "Big Buck" Bob. I had a great hunt. I saw 8 bucks on first hunt out; one for-sure a shooter. I shot a real nice 10 point with a dark rack, big body buck on the second morning. I couldn't be happier. It was a nice area to hunt. The ladder stands were comfortable. The weather was cold. You probably need to put in more heated enclosed blinds to keep hunters in the woods longer. I recommend a shed on site be made into a buck hanging area and even an area to cut the deer up if we wish. The bucks should be right here for all of us to brag up and show-off. The guides, Pete and Pete Jr., worked hard. Marlene's cooking was fantastic. I'd recommend this hunt to others.

I had a great hunt! I shot my buck (9 pts) on the 10th of November. Peter and Marlene are the best; great food; great camp. P.J. went all out to get me to my hunting stands. We will be back 2009.

On the first day I passed up a nice 8 pt. After that I did not see much, due to high winds. The "team" did everything in their power to get me a deer with no success, but they made it a great time.
